Excellent Carry-On

I am obsessed with this carry-on bag. I’ve spent the last 20 years hopping around the globe and, in that time, I’ve tried just about every kind of bag you can imagine—big ones, tiny ones, soft, hard, duffel-style, backpack-style, even one that was technically made for diving gear and oxygen bottles. I’ve wheeled, dragged, and carried more bags than I can count—two wheels, four wheels, “miracle” fold-up ones that look great on Instagram but somehow never in real life. You name it, I’ve probably packed it.
And then I found this aluminum carry-on and it has been a game changer for me.
It came with all these thoughtful extras—additional leather covers for the handles, a strap to secure it, and even a plastic cover to protect it from scratches. Full disclosure: I’ve never used the cover. It’s aluminum—it’s supposed to get a little beat up and I am fine with it. That’s part of its charm. I haven’t used the strap either, but I’m guessing it’s there to reinforce the zipper-less locking latches for those “sitting on your suitcase to make it close” moments (we’ve all been there).
This bag just looks sleek. It’s easy to pack, glides like a dream in every direction, rolls quietly (a rare blessing in airports), fits perfectly in overhead bins, and those inside pockets are really handy for small items - you super organized ladies will love this feature. I have to mention the wheels again here because the quality is superb! If you compare the wheels on this bag to most luggage wheels that are made of cheap plastic you will immediately notice the difference in the way they look and function.
I’ve always drooled over the look of those fancy Rimowa aluminum carry-ons but I never gave in to my dreams of owning that luxury item [more on the luxury items I did purchase later]. This Amazon version? Total win. It looks just as stylish, costs a fraction of the price, and after several domestic and international trips, it’s still holding strong. A few little dings, sure, but it still looks great and works perfectly.
And for my “brand-name-or-bust” friends—don’t worry. I’ll drop a link to a Rimowa too, so you can pick whichever fits your taste (and your budget).
If you click on any of the products on my website and purchase them, Amazon pays me a small commission. This doesn't make the product more expensive for you, it is the same price no matter how you buy it; this is a fee that Amazon pays to people that send traffic to their website.
